‘Tis the season for Christmas cards. Here at Jalloro, we’ve gone all giddy for everything Christmas… all except for our grinch-y web developer, that is.
There were so many hopeful designs that longed to send a big “HAPPY CHRISTMAS!” to all on the mailing list, but in the end the winner was clear - eat, drink, and be merry. Our favourite design was printed in 3 variatons (and also adapted into a gif for the homepage).
Opening the box that arrived on Friday morning from the printers was like a mini Christmas in itself.
Possibly the most charming printer ever conceived. Not only does it create a pocket sized newspaper of the things that you are most interested in, but has a smile on it’s face while it’s doing it. There have admittedly been printers in the past that I have found truly drool-worthy (a wide-format Epson beauty) but none that have made me want to give it a hug.
A lot of our work consists of bringing clients who are more analogue- based up to speed with today’s technology- getting them set up with websites, blogs, and apps, etc. We love technology, and this little printer is a beautiful marriage of the digital age with the nostalgic.
The very talented and totally charming artist, James Howard, has a show opening at the Aubin Gallery next week. We have had the pleasure of designing an exciting catalogue for him – make sure you pick one up form the exhibition when you visit. Authorized at Aubin Gallery from 27 April to 26 May.
Alongside the Jamie Oliver’s Fabulous Feasts menu for Garsington Opera, we designed a Welcome to Wormsley leaflet and ticket wallet in time for the opening of their box office for the 2011 Season. Here’s a lovely map we designed of the Wormsley estate. For tickets you can try your luck here: Garsington Opera Box Office.
